Travel Show and Over 50's Show set for Ballsbridge

Travel Department's Holiday Show will take place on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th October at The Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin 4, with over 5,000 expected to attend over the two days.

For those interested in learning more about solo friendly holidays (no single supplement!); long haul destinations, such as India and China; specialist holidays including walking, garden, wine and opera breaks; and exciting new destinations such as Iceland and Russia, then this holiday show is for them!

The travel extravaganza aims to widen people's knowledge and understanding of the range of trips available and will showcase the company's European and long haul destinations, with specialist holiday updates provided by expert guides and knowledgeable speakers including food writer Paolo Tullio, RTE's gardening guru Dermot O'Neil, motivational walkers Teena Gates and Declan Cunningham to name a few.  Plus Travel Department's experienced team will be on hand to answer holiday related queries, discuss options and help visitors to choose their perfect 2014 holiday.

Attendees can expect fantastic, exclusive early booking offers for 2014 that will only be available on the 18th and 19th October and a chance to win some fantastic prizes, including an escorted Cruise Holiday with Travel Department and Royal Caribbean International.

Meanwhile, the Senior Times Over 50's Show, an annual highlight for many Active Retirement Associations, will take also take place in Ballsbridge. The RDS will again host Ireland's biggest trade show aimed at older people.
