Active Retirement Ireland is delighted to renew its partnership with Irish Heart for the month of February again this year. We are asking that all of the Active Retirement Associations around the country consider hosting a RED coffee morning amongst their members. Events can be hosted on Valentine’s Day February 14th or any day in February and will help to raise vital funds for Irish Heart in their efforts to combat heart disease and stroke in Ireland.
A handy fundraising pack has been posted out to all of the ARAs and includes everything you need to make your Coffee Morning a success, including top fundraising tips, a poster to help promote your event; and information on how you can lodge any funds. If you need additional fundraising materials including balloons or posters, don’t hesitate to contact Irish Heart.
The mission of Irish Heart is to stop people dying prematurely from heart disease and stroke. As heart disease is Ireland’s number one killer, we know that many ARA members have been touched by heart disease and stroke in their lifetime, and often in a very personal, emotive way. Join us in our mission and host a coffee morning to fight back and have an impact on cardiovascular disease. On behalf of Irish Heart, we would like to thank you in advance for the effort put into organising a coffee morning this February.
If you have events planned that you would like help in promoting, or have photos from your coffee morning that you would like to share, please contact Kate O’Reilly, National Campaigns Manager at Irish Heart, on 01 668 5001 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
